The Journey Begins
Good job, decent relationship. Yet, she sits mindlessly eating in front of the T.V. night after night, becoming more disconnected and more depressed.
Something’s missing.
She can’t put her finger on it.
Jen doesn’t want to go back to therapy – she thinks it’s too much of the same old, same old. But she knows she needs help.
She’s willing to face her underlying fears, be challenged, and get in touch with her body and the messages it is telling her.
Her layers of trauma have kept her frozen for many years.
She’s now beginning to thaw.
Jen, although reluctant at first, was willing to be gently prodded by her equine guides, track sensations, and become more aware and present to her inner light.
Layers of trauma, addiction and betrayal can cripple hope and connection.
Jen has since lost 47 pounds and expresses her hope for the future.
She has a better connection to herself, and when she gets off track is able to recover quicker.
Awareness is the greatest agent for change. – Eckhart Tolle
